Jancis Robinson (2012): Introvert nose and some real structure. Made for the long term. Intense and layered. Far from simple. Citrus on the finish. A little more astringent than the other Keller bottlings at this stage. (18/20, 2013)

Jancis Robinson (2014): Tasted at Justerini & Brook’s tasting in London on 9 Sep. A little more restrained on the nose than I remember some previous vintages. Rather tough and dry on the end with massive extract. This is telling the taster to back off and wait. Solid rather than expressive. (17+/20, 2015)

Jancis Robinson (2016): Among Keller`s Grosse Gewächse, the Kirchspiel is often regarded as Cinderella before she went to the ball, less hyped than her sisters, but her beauty obvious to the observant. Her gentle perfume of elderflower and fine citrus aromas certainly invites you to make her acquaintance. On the palate, gooseberry and grapefruit cause a certain tingle, further stimulation of the taste buds being provided by a sprinkling of fresh green herbs and a cool, salty tang. Truly invigorating style of Grosses Gewächs. (18.5/20, 2017)
