Beschreibung
Parker: The 1989, while filled with tannin and structured for aging up to 30 years, did not seem to have quite the inner core of fruit, depth, and intensity that the 1988 possessed. Full and tannic, it will not be at its best until midway through the first decade of the next century. This is an imposingly backward style of wine that may ultimately merit a higher score--provided the fruit does not dry out before the tannin fades.
