Chateau Canon la Gaffeliere 1995 12er Holzkiste

Parker: This is one of the top estates of St.-Emilion. The ambitious proprietor, Comtes de Neipperg, is to be commended on the terrific job he has done at Canon-la-Gaffeliere since the mid-eighties. The 1995 displays a saturated opaque purple color with an evolving, smoky, black pepper, cassis, and toasty-scented nose. This highly-extracted, formidably tannic, muscular wine should ultimately prove to be the finest Canon-la-Gaffeliere since the fabulous trio of 1988, 1989, and 1990. However, its high level of wood tannin suggests it requires another 5-6 years of cellaring.
