Falstaff: Funkelndes Rubin. Fein gezeichnete Nase mit leicht würzigen Noten, etwas Ingwer, dann reife dunkle Kirsche. Sehr satte Frucht am Gaumen, viel Zwetschke, feine Süße, entfaltet sich mit viel Eleganz, kompakt und lang, im Finale fester Druck. 93/100 (2010)

Vinum: Verführerisch himbeerduftiger Wein mit majestätischer Balance; besitzt viel Substanz aber vor allem auch viel Schmelz und optimale integrierte, geschliffene Tannine, sehr gut auf die Säure abgestimmt. Viel Eleganz bis ins Finale. 18/20 (2010)

Wine Spectator: Bright, rich and powerful, boasting oak spice that adds interest to its cherry, licorice and tobacco flavors. Shows fine intensity and a chewy texture.
