James Suckling: A very concentrated and pure expression, this shows lemon and lemon-barley aromas on the nose with a mouthy grapefruit thread to boot. Unevolved and pure, highlighting aromas of spring flowers. The palate's super long, concentrated and powerful, boasting a polished phenolic texture and a long thread of lemon-citrus-fruit flavors. The acidity sits in neat balance, and tangelo undertones define the finish. This is excellent. Drink 2020–2030. 94/100

Jancis Robinson: Quaternary sediment. Broad, vegy nose. Really satisfies the back of the palate. Almost gingery. Full bodied with a satin texture though it is not massive. Neat. 17/20
