Parker: Harvested principally in mid-October (but assembled from four different lots) the Wittmann 2006 Westhofener Moorstein Riesling Grosses Gewachs adds to the grapefruit and peach already noted in his Kirschpiel a chicken stock-, Chablis-like depth. Satiny in texture, and with a greater sense of ripeness and richness than its two Grosses Gewachs siblings, this finishes with generous citricity, and palpable impressions of chalky stuffing. 90/100
