Parker: Very intense in its lemon color, von Winning's 2019 Sauvignon Blanc I opens with an intense and concentrated bouquet of ripe fruits (domestic and tropical fruit aromas ranging from white and green to yellow) intertwined with the spicy flavor of fine oak. If the Sauvignon II is Sancerre, the Sauvignon I is Pessac-Léognan and built more on concentration and power. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, intense and juicy Sauvignon Blanc with good freshness, fine tannins and ripe peach and mango aromas on the finish. It already drinks easily but is an ambitious, well-structured Sauvignon Blanc. 91-92/100
