Falstaff zu 2019: Dezente Mineralnoten, blumig, Orangenschale, komplex, aber noch unentfaltet. Im Mund geradezu adstringierend dicht, eindringlich taktilmineralisch, ein fast schmerzhaft dichtes Extraktpaket auf geschmeidig-süßem Fond, mit knackiger Säure und makelloser Balance. 97/100

James Suckling zu 2019: Deep, dense and subtle, this is an imposing wine, yet remains so vital and animating. Shimmering with a thousand facets, but also with a forthright, nectarine note that makes it instantly appealing. Brilliant finish that reminds us what it's like to be up in high mountains – the light, the air. Drink or hold. 97/100

Robert Parker zu 2015: The 2015 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Riesling Trocken GG is delicate and filigreed on the nose, provided with herbal notes and lovely stony aromas. Filigreed on the palate as well, this is an elegant, savory and intense Gräfenberg that is herbal on the long, intense and saline finish. It has great tension, salinity and finesse. This is impressive. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in Kiedrich, August 2025. 97/100

James Suckling zu 2017: Still a bit closed on the nose, but there's a flinty note, too. On the palate this combines the typical richness of this site with the racy and mineral personality of the vintage. Great balance at the long, precise finish. Drink or hold. 95/100

Falstaff zu 2015: Verschlossen mineralisch, schieferwürzig, getrocknete ­Zitronenschale, weich im Ansatz, dann aber auch Phenole, ­sogar grüne Komponenten, vital in der Säure, immens mineralisch, hat eine Urkraft, und das mit Anlagen zu Reichtum und Fülle, momentan im Tiefschlaf. 95/100

Falstaff zu 2013: Aristokratischer Stil. Balanciert, vielschichtig. Pfirsich, Quitte, Pampelmuse, Orangeat. Mineralisch. Feiner Schmelz, vibrierende Säure. Baut Spannungsbogen bis ins Finale auf. Wahrlich ein großes Gewächs. 95/100

Robert Parker zu 2013: The 2013 Kiedrich Gräfenberg Riesling Trocken GG is deep and complex on the elegant nose that reveals tea and lemony aromas intermingled with herbal notes. Mouthfilling and textured on the palate, this is a rich and intense Gräfenberg with mouth-filling fruit yet not the structural talents a great Gräfenberg can give. Natural cork. 95/100

James Suckling zu 2015: Has the signature mango and papaya nose of this wine. On the edge of opulence, but still fresh in spite of the considerable ripeness and power. Although this is already drinking well it should age for at least a further decade. 93/100

Jancis Robinson zu 2013: I was only ever once disappointed by the Gräfenberg and that was in 2010. 2013 was an equally challenging vintage, but this time round there is a lot more ripeness and substance. Intense fruit aromas and waxy honey make for a very promising beginning, and this first impression is backed up by a full body, creamy texture and juicy stone fruit on the palate. The well-pitched animating acidity contributes to an excellent structure, and the customary dash of minerality is not missing. It also appears a little drier than it used to be, an improvement in my book. 18/20

Jancis Robinson zu 2019: Hello honey! Hello also to mango, ripe apple and lime. Dry, linear, precise and punchy. There's plenty of weight on the palate, and thickly layered fruit. Finishes with slaty complexity. 17/20
