Jancis Robinson: Just 700–800 litres produced. Approximate RS 40 g/l, TA 9.5 g/l. Alcohol estimated. Cask sample. Tasted blind. Gently smoky and intensely pure citrus nose. Not nearly as marked by the spontaneous-ferment character as the Pettenthal GG in 2018. Super-stony impression. Incredibly pure. Delicate sweet/sour citrus, has a touch of floral citrus and herbs, citrus blossom. Bright, crystalline and almost eye-watering acidity. Silky and smooth without the grain/texture of the Schubertslay. Tension and such a lightness of touch even with so much intensity. 18+/20 (2020)
