Parker: When I tasted the 2000 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles on September 10, 2001, it had just finished its malolactic fermentation. It explodes from the glass with assorted white fruits, spices, flowers, anise, and toast. On the palate, this medium to full-bodied wine offers roasted pear, buttered popcorn, toast, copious spices, and candied apples. It is deep, immensely ripe, intense, and concentrated. This is a sumptuous, refined wine with an exquisitely long and supple finish. 92-95/100
