Parker: The nose is much more complex than either the 1997 or 1999 with black truffle, a touch of liquorices and a certain minerality. Refined and very focused. The palate is quite leathery with notes of cooked meats, fig, damson and sloes. There is an elegance and a deftness of touch that singles out this Marie Beurrier, with a delectable crisp fininsh. An exquisite CdP. Drink 2012-2025. 95/100
Jeff Leve: Just loved this wine! Elegant in texture, the nose, with its perfect blend of earth, barnyard, cherries, licorice, flowers and garrigue really gets your engine going. Fresh, vibrant and earthy, this is drinking at peak. 95/100
