Parker: The 1999, which has continued to flesh out during its upbringing, is one of the most concentrated and potentially long-lived wines of the vintage. An opaque ruby/purple color is followed by jammy, kirsch liqueur, blackberry, and smoky graphite aromas. The essence of this vineyard's terroir is apparent in this huge yet supple-textured, super-concentrated as well as layered effort. It is a prodigious offering. 92-94/100
