FX Pichler Kellerberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd 2007 Magnum

Galloni: Medium green-yellow. Still somewhat closed on the nose but opens with coaxing to reveal elegant spicy tobacco and ripe juicy apple and apricot. The juicy apricot element carries through on the palate, where it's joined by strong minerality. Very elegantly styled wine, offering a delicate play of acidity and a discreet note of honey interwoven with a wet stone character. An aristocratic wine with great aging potential.
