Beschreibung
Jancis Robinson: Served blind in Singapore alongside a Viña Real 1952 which at first it 'trounced' for its apparent additional maturity and complexity. Pale ruby. Sweet start with a definitively mature edge. Very savoury and beautifully clean and complex. Long and complex. Really very fine indeed and definitely at the peak of its powers. With time in the glass the fruit started to fade a bit but it was glorious at its best. A marvel that clearly demanded extended bottle age. 19/20
