Beschreibung
Parker: First tasted in September 2002. Sweet, cherry infused, almost cloying nose. Palate has good concentration and tannins though lacks complexity. Austere. Dry. Earthy, compact finish. Better than Calon Segur but a wimp against the titanic Montrose 1970! Drink now. Then again at the Rhodes tasting in September 2004. A refined, very traditional nose. That scent of seaweed that appeared on the 1979 with a touch of plum. Palate is well-balanced with good concentration. Quite conservative and four-square but I don't mind that. Earthy finish. 88-89/100
